Is this ok?

So tonight FMIL asked me where we were registered as we did not put it on the invititations ... so i told her I thought it was bad ettiquette to put it on the invitations and then she told me the hostess of the Bridal shower will be putting it on those invitations...is that ok since I'm technically not hosting it?

thats ok since a shower is about showering the bride with gifts.

Yes, that's fine.  Some registries will include enclosure cards, which you can usually pick up in store or print off at your house.  Enclosure cards just include your names, the store's name and sometimes a code or barcode for the cashier to access.  The host can slide them into the invitation if she wants to.

Yes, bridal showers normally do have where people are registered due to the nature of what kind of party it is "showering her with love/gifts"

Around here, people will talk behind your back for a thousand forevers if you put ANY sort of registry info in/on shower invitations.  I guess it all depends on your circle of friends/family.  If you've gotten invites before that had the info on there, or enclosed, then I don't think it will be a problem.
