I just wanted to check in and see how everyone's week has been so far?? Any wedding stuff this weekend??

This weekend they are having an open house at our venue so we're taking all 4 parents to see it.  This will be the second time for my parents (wanted to get their opinion before booking it since it's their money) but the first time for my FILs.  Very nervous that FMIL won't be happy or will start wanting all sorts of things to be changed.

So, I started the gift that I'll give FI on our wedding day (actually, probably at the RD).  It's called the I Like book and each day you write something that you like about the other person.  He doesn't know I'm doing it.  I started it on 4/20 so it will have exactly a year's worth in it.  I'm actually really enjoying it.  I'm just putting in statements like "I like that you helped with the laundry tonight" or "I like that we finally got that step right in dance class and you were so proud of yourself".

This weekend I'm going to start pricing out grab bags for my Bridesmaids and Flower girl to give them. I am looking to personalize each one.

i got my wedding venue over the weekend! and they have a free change of date clause so if it takes longer than expected to get my fiance's visa, no problem! also, the confirmation of the venue letter should help make us look better to the embassy!

I got my e-pics back yesterday (I'll post my favorite later!), I sent in the deposit for a photo booth, I got the price quote I wanted for the DJ I love, AND I just inquired about videography and it's really looking like something we can do as well.  It's been a super productive week, wedding-wise!

eta, sleepyb, I LOVE your idea!  I've got less than a year now but I think I might do something like that for my FI.  He loves personal gifts like that!

This week is flying by!  Been so busy with work that I haven't had time to do any wedding stuff in the past couple of weeks.  We want to get our Save the Dates ordered soon and have that out of the way.  We won't mail them til August, but something tells me this summer is gonna come and go quick so I don't want to put too many things off.

Sleepyb I'm doing the same thing and I started mine on 4/20 too!!
