9 months!!

Happy 9 months til the big day to all my fellow April 6 brides! Anyone have specific planning goals for this month? We have FINALLY scheduled our engagement photos--August 5 (just barely making it within the 8 month mark!), and then I plan to send out Save the Dates at the beginning of September.

Wooottt! I received my 9 month email yesterday (we are April 5!) I need to work on my stds this month, we plan to send them out in September. We are also meeting with a bakery this month, i called today and am waiting to hear back.

Yay!! Well, I just started planning, so I still have everything left to do! But I already have the venues, photog and cake baker on hold, signing the papers next week, and an appointment next week for the dresses. We won't be doing our engagement photos till November though, so we can get some fall colors, since we aren't doing STD's (just word of mouth). I just want to use the pictures for our guest book. My main goal this month is just to get all of the vendors secured!

Yay! Today is also our four year anniversary and the original day we were planning on getting married.. I'm SO glad we waited. This month we need to do engagement pics also, and I need to get a florist and baker and work on DIY. I also want to start looking for bridesmaids dresses since my moh goes back to va in august :

WOO!  I was super excited to see that this morning.  I still need an officiant and ceremony musicians but everything else looks good.  I won't plan our menu until around January.  Our friend will be making all of our invites/STD's so I need to get in touch with her.  Oh, and I finally updated our wedding website with almost all of our e-pics and pics from when we were honored as a "Couple for a Cure" last year.  

ETA: I made this sign in our wedding colors.  Super excited over it.

Awesome sign! Sounds like we're all making really good progress. The only major vendor I'm still researching is the DJ. I went to a wedding last month and didn't like the DJ, so now I'm paranoid about having one that knows what he's doing on the mic.

I'm also getting really eager to register! My fiance takes the bar exam at the end of this month, so that may get put off til August.

^ David's is pretty quick.  I'd say around January, tbh.

I was just in a wedding where our dresses were from DB. Luckily, my size was on the rack, but they told the bride to allow 3 months for ordering.

Wow I feel so behind the ball!!! I have a venue, my dress and shoes, a Judge that works with me will be doing the ceremony. I have appointments this week with a caterer, a floist, and 2 photographers. It's going to be a pack full week. Part of my issues is that my mom and dad are paying for everything and they live in another state so I have to wait until mom comes to visit. I've looked at BM dresses with one of my friends but haven't found anything yet. I still need to find a baker....ugh!!!!!!!!!

Right there with you, kymalibustacey.  We have our venue and ceremony/reception music.  I found my dress and did my engagement photos but definitely need to get cracking on the rest of the vendors in the next few weeks.  I'm meeting with a florist tomorrow (not prepared, eek!) and two tastings this week.  Bringing my MOH and the his BM to one of our tastings this week which should be suuuper fun.  I've been going overboard with research for the invitations.  I can not believe how expensive they are!!  Thinking of DIYing them, at least partially.  With all the other expenses I just hate to spend $500+ to officially invite everyone who already knows haha

I think I have developed a twitch looking at invitations on-line. I had to stop - my head was spinning. I ordered samples from a few different sites. I never thought invites would be this difficult.
