How you gunna....be a "best friend" and bridesmaid and call and tell the bride that you don't feel close anymore and now would like to be out of the wedding...OK FINE

but then I have another friend who never purchased her dress never told me her plans of if or when she will get her dress...told me a date but never confirmed if she had it....OK FINE

i'm learning this thing called quality friends lesson! LOL

I'd chalk it up to jealousy, especially as we are getting closer to the big day.  Too bad, but at least now you now who's really there for you

Sorry that you are dealing with this. As someone else said, try to look on the bright side. You don't want that person standing next to you anyway on YOUR big day, especially if they don't support you!

That stinks!

I think it's really easy to say yes when someone asks you to be in their wedding when you're still a year or more away from the actual date, but once it gets closer and you have to cough up money, attend events, etc, they realize they never should have said yes in the first place.  Better to find out all of this now, rather than just not have them show up on your wedding day.

Thanks ladies for being supportive...I really think that it was a mixture of jealousy and plain our selfishness! Hoping thats the only dramma stint I have lol crossing fingers!

I know how you feel. I lost one BM when she decided she didn't want to be my friend anymore due to the fact that I'm friends with someone she doesn't likehow elementary school! Only she didn't tell me this, she just started ignoring me and deleted me on FB. And some of my other BMs have been real flakey and I will be surprised if they all get dresses. Just try not to let it bother you and remember that the most important part of you day is being married you your hubby at the end of the day!
