Question??? How do you univite a used to be close friend to your wedding??? HELP !!

I have had a best friend (so called best friend) for almost 5 yrs. But we haven't been that close in the past 3 yrs. I invited her to my wedding when we first starting planning 3 months ago and I want to univite her instead of her thinking that she is still invited! I feel horrible but we hardly speak, I don't see her at all! i am so confused! How do I tell her??? Help me please !!

You can't uninvite someone you've already invited.  I'm not sure why you already invited her in the first place?

Definitely no real way to uninvite her. If you aren't super close, then maybe she won't show, anyway. Do you have your RSVPs in? If she has already said yes, just prepare for her being there. You probably won't even see her much on the day of the wedding.

I'm assuming that you are talking abouta verbal invite and not an actual invitaiton.  If you verbally invited her and yet you haven't been speaking in months then I don't think she is going to expect a formal mailed invitation.  So stop panicking and re think this when it comes time to send out the actual invitations.

A verbal invitation is as good as a paper one. So, OP, unless you want to end the friendship you need to invite her. But either way I still think it is rude.

I am confused.  Why would you send out invites so soon.  And if it is a verbal invite I am afraid you are out of luck.  You will still have to send an invite.  If you aren't close anymore they will probably RSVP no and you won't have to worry about it.

thank you all for your advice. It was just a thing where since we were close friends for so long she just knew that she was going to be invited. over the past few years the friendship died, we don't speak nor do we see eachother! My fiance never really cared for this girl or the friendship and sais that she doesn't need to be there because our friendship wasn't real and she's not a real friend.

I still don't know what to do. I haven't sent out invites, I'm just now getting my save the dates out and I waasn't planning on sending her one. According to her we are still close butin my eyes we aren't!

since she found out that I was planning a wedding she automatically assumes she was invited since we were friends..i can unvite someone that kinda invited themselves!!

Well then don't send her a STD at all. If she brings it up, just tell her the guest list hasn't been finalized and change the subject. No more wedding talk with her!

Just let it die out. Don't bring it up and if she brings it up, just change the subject. 

Verbal invites are not always the same as a formal invite, esp if the friendship goes on the outs and you don't talk with that person as frequently. See where the friendship is at in 6 months when it's time to send out invites. No need to evaluate and freak out now.
