Tuesday Morning

Good Morning Ladies,

FI, my mom, and I are meeting with a wedding planner this evening.  It'll be the third interview.  I absolutely loved the first one we met with but she was soooo expensive.  The second was much cheaper but was no where near as vibrant and outgoing as the first.  I'm hoping the lady tonight will be a happy medium.  She comes recommended by some ladies on my local.

FI and I had our dance class last night.  We started off taking a 2-step class put on by the school district (reasonably priced evening fun classes).  When that one ended, the teacher offers more advanced classes at a different location.  So, FI agreed to sign up for that.  We're having such a great time.  I'm starting to think we'll do some kind of fancy 2-step for our first dance.

That is awesome that your FI is taking dance classes with you! I am jealous.

Tuesday has been blah for me. I am annoyed, this is the second day in a row that our pop machines are empty. It just makes me angry because I work in the facility where they make the dang stuff and we can't seem to keep our machines stocked.

We found out yesterday that FI got a big promotion and will start work in NYC soon so that is exciting.  But now I am nervous about having to move closer to the train and how it will make my commute about 3hrs a day.  I am also a bit sad because he may have to leave on Mother's Day to go to Boston for training and so we wouldn't be able to celebrate.  Don't get me wrong I am very grateful for the opportunity and am very proud of him! 

I have my last statistics class before the final tonight and I can't motivate myself to study.  I need someone to give me a swift kick in the booty.  I was supposed to study last night but watching Beauty and the Beast with DD won.

He's pretty amazing.  At the end of the first session, when the teacher told us about the next level of classes, I just looked at him and smiled (we were lined up on opposite walls).  He looked back at me and nodded.  I was shocked that I didn't even need to say anything.

How is it hard for them to keep the machines stocked?

Congrats to the FI on the promotion!

Time with your DD will always win out!  I can't even imagine trying to study and raise kids.  At least after work, you can go home and leave work at the office.  With school, it doesn't end when class is over.

<div>Yeah I brought my stat book to work today to try and study over lunch.  I will be so glad when the semester is over and it will only be work and DD not work, school and DD.</div>

<div>I LOVE two stepping.  I went to college in OK.  Unfortunately no one in NJ knows how to do it.  I told the DJ we booked he would have to play some country and I think his eyes rolled all the way around.  I am jealous of your dance lessons!</div>

Aww that is super cute!

And it shouldn't be hard at all. They usually do it daily, or at least 4 times a week. I guess this is a sign I should stop drinking pop lol.

There is a groupon today for dance lessons and I was thinking about asking FI to go.  He's a great dancer but I'd like to choreograph something, or at least know a formal dance! 

I'm teaching at my rough school today.  My throat hurts.

Erbear - If he's already a good dancer, then the class would be a fun date thing to do either way.  FI and I already knew the basic 2-step but through the class we've learned some patterns that will make us look really spiffy on the dance floor.

Hah, it's because I have to literally YELL to be heard.  These kids have no idea how to communicate except through yelling.  Le sigh.

Good to hear re: dancing; I'm going to bring it up to him tonight.  It's two private sessions, two group sessions, and one giant dance rehearsal for $29.

That's a great price.  I'd totally do it.  What type of dance is the class for?

They teach everything.  It's a really well-known dance studio in Pittsburgh...during Pgh's gallery crawls I've actually taken a dance lesson from them (how to dance to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce, hehe).  They offer specific wedding classes, too.
