So we cancelled the band a few weeks ago, and asked FI's coworker to be our DJ. I asked him upfront what pricing was and he told me not to worry about it, that he'd take care of us...all right. Fast forward to yesterday, he randomly emails me pricing and even with his 25% discount, we're still looking at $650 which is way over our budget. So FI told him nevermind and now we're back to square one for finding music. I'm about ready to say forget it and just hook up the iPad but it's a rather large venue (think school gym size) so we'd need some good equipment...
