I could have sworn that when I checked my passport a couple of months ago, it was going to be just fine to get me through the honeymoon.  Yea, not so much: expires Nov 22, 2012.  Womp Womp!  I just filled out the paperwork, wrote the check and dug up my extra passport picture from getting my work passport.  Luckily, I had that on hand so I can just UPS it tomorrow.  Should take 4-6 weeks to get back so I'm just lucky that I double checked.  I suggest you all do the same thing if you haven't already!

I also was told that even if your passport is going to expire within 6 months of your trip you should still renew it (who knew). I guess some countries don't feel comfortable letting people in if the passport is only valid for 6 more months. This is just something I heard (from ppl who travel overseas a lot), I have no proof of this though.</div>

Costa Rica requires that your passport be current for 90 days after you visit. I will be good to go!!!  I wish we could just stay there, though ;-)

Haha yea, I thought I was good but apparently I mistook 2012 for 2013 ;-)
