So everyone at my office is super excited for my wedding. Since I'm getting married on a Friday I cannot invite anyone (it's a small office with about 15 people, my boss included). So I was telling one of my friends I didn't think I was going to wear make-up, since I hate the stuff anyways and FI doesn't think I need it. Well my boss overheard, comes tearing out of her office and says "WHAT!?!?!?!?" I don't know how it happened but I found myself agreeing to let the girls (and guys) in the office give me a wedding make-over Wednesday and Friday. Everyone, boss included, is so excited and they are already talking about what they plan to do. I'm terrified. What have I done!?

Just bring some face wipes with you so you can take it off if you need to.

I would not let that happen. I don't wear makeup and I would be afraid that I would break out or have some type of reaction to whatever they put on me. Plus I don't like when people touch my face lol.

I think you'll be okay.  Just make sure any brushes or sponges they use are new or at least clean.  If anything, have them teach you how to do it and YOU put the makeup on your face.  Enjoy :-)

Well I'm bringing in my own make-up (what little I have of it) so I don't have to worry about any reactions.

If you are using your own makeup, humor them and if you hate it you can always wipe it off. But I wouldn't let them try anything new this close to the wedding in case you do break out.  I'm completely useless when it comes to applying my own makeup, so I typically take what help I can get.

The only new things I would need (if I decide to wear make-up on my wedding day) are water-proof eyeliner and mascara (if I wear it...I hate how the stuff looks!). FI is determined to make me cry.

I'm not sure why people are so insistent on being involved in everything. If I were you, I'd say, "No thanks, I know how to apply makeup, I just don't want to wear it."

Two of our BMs are hiring a makeup artist to come in, and I had to worry about offending them by not taking part. I ended up deciding to do my own makeup because 1) I like how I do it, and 2) I didn't want to stress over having someone else do my makeup right on my wedding day. I think they understood.
