Registry!!

So, Ive been snooping on my registrys, and I added a few things that were expesive and figured  wouldnt get. To my amazement, someone bought me the kitchn aid stand mixer that I wanted!!! Im sooo freaking excited!!! Im hopig I get it next weekend at my shower!

Have you guys been surprised by any purchases yet?

I didn't check the registry beforehand, but at our shower we did not get any pots or pans, and only 2 bath towels! We registered for many smaller items to give people options, but we figured we would at least get a few of those things lol. So now we have everything under the sun to cook WITH, but nothing to cook it in!

We did get a fire extinguisher, and I thought that was pretty cool.

People tend to give smaller gifts at the shower and wait to gift the larger ones for the wedding, so don't be surprised if you don't see it until then... Congrats! I love my kitchen aid.

We got our KitchenAid mixer at Christmas from FILs.  I was so excited and then I realized that we were in Pittsburgh and had to get it to FL somehow.  We're going to have FILs bring it down when they come down for the wedding.  Sigh...oh well, if I did have it, I wouldn't be able to use it anyway.  It would just sit on my counter, beckoning at me.

I am so bad and definitely snooping at my lists! My shower is the 23rd this month.
My god mother sent the gifts she bought to my house! She went over board and I love her!
She got me both sets of silverware, the shark steam vac, hamilton beach breakfast maker, and 2 seperate rachel ray pans/pots that I added to the registry as extras. I couldnt believe it.

Oh and I saw someone did get my microwave woo cant wait for the shower.

I put rachel ray everything on mine!! lol i couldnt resist! I got the kitchen aid mixer in red! Ive already planned out what im making first!

I love rachel ray! I also have a 10pc cookware set on there too that I think my aunt is buying cant wait!
I registered for a red kitchen aid mixer too, totally not expecting anyone to get it though.

I'm definitely snooping, but not peeking at the thank you managers so I can be surprised at who gave them to me. I just checked this morning and there are a few things I can't wait to get! i heart my family and friends.

I registered for a KitchenAid as well. My aunt was going to buy it for me but my mom told her it was too expensive. Really, Mom? It's on there for a reason! My mom's other reasoning, I inherited my Nana's stand mixer when she passed back in October. I didn't find this out until last week when she came over with it. Now I'm thinking about removing the KitchenAid from the registry but we really don't have much on there. My FI and I moved in together in July and needed to buy some of the typical registry items and then my mom bought us stuff from it and gave it to us after I told her not to. I dunno.

I'm horrible at checking the registries to see if anyone bought anything. My FI says I shouldn't cheat but I do when he's not around. We're getting the salad bowl I wanted and 3 spring pans so I can make my famous New York style cheesecake!

I put a lot of things on there, and a lot of them are ones that i dont think that i will get. but i figured what the hell!? you never know! I think my FMIL bought it for me, she went with me to a bunch of apointments the other day and i told her how much i loved them!

I just got an email from Macy's for guests to get $20 off their next $50 purchase after they buy something off of our registry.  I see those emails and think, "What a great deal!!" especially for shower guests.  However, I only send them to my mom and FMIL b/c I'd feel so gift grabby to send in elsewhere.  I mentioned it to a BM and how awkward it is and she said, "SEND IT TO ME!!!" haha so yea...I don't know.

It sucks because it's such a killer deal but I feel like no one will find out about it :-/

Last night the UPS guy showed up around 7pm with a gigantic box. My step-aunts banded together and bought us the second most expensive thing off the registry!! A Cuisinart 13-cup food processer! This was the one thing we registered for that we don't have and would never buy for ourselves because we can get by without it. But boy oh boy did we want it! Really excited to try it out!

Spoof I got home from work tonight, and my mixer was waiting for me in a target box on my kitchen table!! My god father bought it for me and I could not be any happier!!! I am counting my blessings for such an amazing family!!

Ok my shower is next weekend and I am sooo bad at stalking the registry it's not even funny LOL I will be surprised at who got me the items
This past weekend I switched my kitchen aid color from red to a flamingo pink one and today someone bought it! SOOO stoked! I can't wait to have it now.
