Another cheap-o Amazon PSA - Stripey Cocktail Hour Straws

I ordered three sets of these last week:

They are super high quality and WAY cheaper than any other websites I have found. $6.56 for 144 straws - PLUS they are shipped from Amazon, so if you buy enough, they can count as part of the $25 minimum for free shipping. 

I thought my fiance would laugh and tell me they were dumb when he saw them, but he was like OMG these will be so fun for our cocktail hour!

Paper straws? Are scared the straws will get soft and fall apart?

hahah no, they are very high quality and will only be used for the guests' first round of drinks during cocktail hour. have you used these straws before? it's not like a piece of paper made into a straw shape, more like a really thick cardboard. lots of environment-friendly restaurants around us have started using straws like these instead of plastic.

I almost ordered these when the idea of straws were mentioned last month. But I was worried about the straws getting soggy like some of the reviews said. I REALLY hope they work out for you though. I'm sure you won't have a problem if your guests drink quickly. Either way, they are a super cute addition to the cocktail hour.

Those are super cute and I love the idea. Did you see them in other colors? We are doing homeade lemonade in mason jars at the ceremony because it will be outside and hot at 4pm. Something like this would be perfect!

Yes I am pretty sure they have a turqoise and maybe a pink too...I would just search on Amazon for that brand of straw and see what else comes up! they would definitely be adorable with mason jars
