So I thought I'd give my FMIL some props for what she did on Sunday. I was getting ready to settle in for a nap when I got a frantic phone call from her. She was at Michael's and found some silver luggage tags we can use as our escort cards and favors that would be $1.50 each with her coupon, falling perfectly into our budget for them. I was a little out of it and couldn't really understand what she was so excited about but once I realized that she had totally taken care of two nitty gritty details I didn't want to face, I was very happy.
She picked up four boxes of ten in the store, had 6 boxes sent over from another store and six more shipped to the store, so we'll have 160 tags. We're expecting around 150 people and probably won't give the kids these as favors. I just hope she keeps the receipt so she can take some back if need be. Once she gets them in, I will have to reimburse her but hey, that's awesome. It's also nice that they were in silver because that's our trim/accent color for the wedding :-)
