So, since I'm totally bored and my workplace is dead today, I'm starting a random post. Just random things that are going on or have happened in your life lately that you feel like venting about or sharing with the world.. go!
So, my reception venue has changed event coordinators 3 times. The first lady that was there when I booked was nice, but very difficult to get in touch with. The 2nd lady that came was nice as well, but also hard to get hold of. Now there is a 3rd lady, and I'm imagining she'll be the one there for my wedding since she just started and it's a month away. She has a lot of planning experience, and she seems friendly. I like her already- she called me back instead of emailed, set up an appointment with me quickly, and already called again to confirm and ask again if I have questions. Here's hoping she will be great!
My shower/bachelorette is tomorrow and I'm super excited, but kinda nervous. Since I'm having such a small wedding, the shower is small- only 10-11 ladies. I just hope because it's that size it doesn't feel lame. I personally like smaller gatherings, but I hope none of the ladies there judge it for being small... I'm sure they won't, but it's just an irrational fear of mine.
And a late throat punch- we are moving all the staff to new cubes in my workplace, and everyone is complaining so much! They don't like how their cube is and want to change it, and when I've told them no, we can't- they start doing it themselves or bicth a ton. I don't get it- where do workers think they just have a right to have everything their way? I've never had a say to where I sit or how it's set up, I just have to deal because they are my employers and they can fire me. Ugh... people.
