What are your BM dresses going to be like?

I kind of have my heart set on these short strapless chiffon dresses for the BMs. I started realizing that the weather may not be very welcoming to these dressesI live in CO so springtime weather can be very unpredictable. Since the ceremony is the only part outside and the reception is indoors you think we'll be ok? What are you all doing for BM dresses if you're planning on outdoors?

We are having an outdoor beach wedding.  We are in Florida so we usually have outstanding April weather. Sunny in the daytime and cool evenings.

I did buy pashminas if they want them for the evening.

Dresses are short, Navy Blue. I loved the dress so much, I bought one for me in black to have as a cocktail dress for whenever.

Satin, Alfred Angelo 7126 in Blue Jay.  It comes with optional straps.  My girls LOVE it.

We live in CT and last April we had beautiful weather. It might be chilly. Our ceremony is planned for outside with a back up to go inside if it rains. The girls are wearing strapless alfred angelo dresses. I might buy them pashimas. Our ceremony is 20 minutes. I think they will be fine

My girls are wearing this, in pink. It's one of those dresses that they probably can't wear again unless they remove that shoulder detail -- but they all looked so dang cute in it.

Our wedding is indoors, so hopefully the only time we will have to deal with the outdoor weather is for photos and traveling between places. Our wedding is in Indiana, so I expect it to be fairly mild, but who knows.

Our wedding is indoors but we are doing photos outside. The weather was absolutely gorgeous around that time last year, fingers crossed for that happening again.

We are having a casual beach wedding. I told my girls that they can wear any dress they like as long as it is pink purple or green. I think they are going to all wind up pink. Thats ok though I have a plan for that.

Is your ceremony is going to be long? I would consider getting the girls something to cover up with just in case it is cold. Or have them all wear their own coats. If it is usually rainy in CO, maybe get some umbrellas for them too.

I definitely second the idea of getting them shawls or pashminas. We're mostly indoors (except for, weather permitting, some beautiful pictures on the grounds outside our venue), but April in NJ is likewise unpredictable. So I got my girls navy blue pashminas from etsy to wear if the weather is a bit colder than expected...or if they just catch a chill!
