Unity Ceremony Song?

Hi Ladies!  Hope everyone's planning is going well.  I am filling out my DJ form and there is a space for a song during the unity ceremony.  We are doing a sand ceremony and I had not thought about a song until seeing the space for it.  Are you ladies doing a song during the sand/candle/other ceremony?  If so what song?  I was thinking a good country love song, maybe Meet in the Middle by Diamond Rio or I Swear by John Micheal Montogomery, but am not sure.  Should it be instrumental so you can hear the officiant?

TIA!
Alyssa

We're getting married in a church so we were a little limited as far as music genre, but we chose Arioso (Thanks Be To Thee) by G.F. Handel for the unity candle segment.

ETA: I think it's typically an organ song but we're having all of our music played on a piano, including this one.
  • We're planning to do a unity candle (ceremony is outdoors, so could be tricky) and I'm going to have the quartet play "Borning Cry." It was sung at my Grandmother's funeral when I was 7, and then at my cousin's wedding the congregation sang it, so I thought it would be nice to keep it in the family. Since we're not going to be signing any hymns (ceremony is mixed religious: Christian and Jewish) I figure I could squeeze it in just as instrumental, and the people on my mom's side of the family who understand the significance will get the msg, and the Jewish guests will likely have never heard it and just think it's pretty :)
