Weekend weekend weekend!

Hi ladies!  I'm here with a nice early-morning weekend post!  What do you have going on, WR or non WR?

So, let's see.  FI's cousin's wedding is this weekend so we're driving 2.5 hours to his home today.  He grew up in a tiny little town and I've only been there once so I'm actually kind of excited to see more places he grew up.

I made 7 different kinds of cookies + fudge for FI's cousin's wedding tomorrow.  There will be like 75 people there, I hear.  She's planned this in like, two months, AND DIY'ed pretty much everything so I'm anxious to see what she did!  Lord knows I'm taking forever in doing my own DIY touches.

And then when we get home Sunday it's GO time on our house.  This week we're going to refinish the wood floors and strip the wallpaper in the kitchen and repaint it.  I also told FI we NEED to order appliances because we NEED to move in ASAP.  I can't handle this neighborhood we currently live in much longer.  The floor refinishing will be tricky (both of us with lung conditions should not be sanding and then handling wood stain/poly top coat) but it'll be worth it in the end to not have ugly carpet and to have nice floors.    Also, I was way too geeked to buy paint the other day.  Ask me next week how I feel about painting and I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune!

Sounds like a fun-filled weekend!!

I am getting off work early and headed to Georgetown, CO, which is a small mountain town about 2 1/2 hours from where I live, to run a half marathon in the morning. Sunday will likely be spent doing house work and maybe going to my cousins house for a pool party.

Woo, house stuff! We need to do some of that too. We have to fix paint on the walls all over the house but have just been way too lazy. One day!

Our weekend.. I have a hair appointment tomorrow. Then cleaning and errands. Doing dinner with family friends that night. Sunday, church and probably lounging. Maybe see Batman since we haven't yet!

As with most weekends, I have to work during the start of it. Work tonight, which is good/bad, since sales Friday night are usually good, but it means I miss out on time with fi. Not sure what we're going to do the rest of the weekend actually, but Snow White and the Huntsmand and Prometheus are now at our local cheepie theater, so we'll probably go to see at least one of those. My dad gets back from the Philipines sometime this weekend, so we may do something with the family. And I think more laundry is in order. Mostly we'll be trying to stay cool, as SoCal is in the middle of a pretty intense heatwave: it's been over 90 basically all week. What I'm most looking forward to is that next Wednesday we're going to Soak City with fi's last roommate/groomsman and his wife. I haven't been to a water park since before I met fi. And we're working our way through our HULU queue with Grimm and Once Upon a Time, so I'm sure there will be some of that this weekend.

On the WR front, I need to either get the price adjusted or return some of the stationary I got at JoAnn's last weekend, because it was not the price I was expecting/willing to pay. And I'd like to order our STDs, although I may wait until next weekend/paycheck. Maybe I'll start painting another box of invites. I sent out an e-mail to a photog, so may talk with her this WE.

Everyone sounds so busy!!

I have WR stuff but for my BF's wedding since I am MOH.  We are having their Stag and Doe Sat. night so I have to prepare some food and help decorate and sell tickets at the hall.  Helping with this stag and doe has made me realize I defintely don't want to have one for my own wedding!  It is 80's theme so the dressing up part will be fun!

We are meeting with the dj I picked..... Need the FI approval because he is a radio dj on the side.... Talk about PRESSURE! Then massage and mani/pedi for me.... Checking out invites on etsy Sunday....

I'm having a lame weekend. FI is out of town for a wedding until Sunday. I stayed home to watch the dog, we didn't want to spend the money on getting our own hotel room and this is his high school friends and they are really lame and are so socially awkward with women that I end up completely ignored. I have to return some stuff to Michaels so that will kill some time tomorrow. I finished my feather-flower bouquet and I'm not so sure I like it so I'm going to start researching florists since it looks like we won't have a wedding party we might be able fit it into the budget. But I might just deal with what I have I don't know.
