Flower proposal...how long did it take to get?

Hey ladies, just curious as to some of your experiences. It has been two weeks since I met with the florist and they still haven't sent back a proposal to me. Mind you I only have ceremony flowers and they're all  roses except for some other added flowers in my bouquet. I emailed to check on it and she says sorry for the delay, didn't realize you didn't get it and I still don't have it! This seems pretty long to me, just checking. Thanks!

I think all of mine were within 1-1 1/2 weeks.

I met with 4 florists.  I got 2 quotes on site and the other 2 I got back in less than a week.

I met with three florists, two quotes I got on site the other I got within 48 hours....and they told me that it would be within 48 hours.  Did the florist give you any indication of how long it would take?  I'd call and see what's up.

No they haven't, everytime I contact them they say they'll send it soon. I could understand if they tell me it's taking awhile for some reason but I don't even hear from them until I contact them. Seems like I may just have to check with a couple of other florists at this point.

I would definitely look into other florists.

We visited Flowers on High and Flowers on Springtree Lane. You should check them out! Good luck!

Do you mind if I ask which florist you're waiting on?  I met with about 5 total and got quotes back from all but 1 within a week or so after meeting with them.  The one I waited on has not been the best on follow up, but their pricing was the most competitive and a friend of mine is using them, so I'm crossing my fingers that everything will go smoothly!

That is a red flag.  I had a similar situation with the stationer, and then it was so stressful to work with her because nothing was ever when she said it would be done.  I have enough stress.  Now I'll be lucky to get the invites out in seven weeks.  RUN!
