Marriage License

I am getting married on December 8 2012.

When should I get marriage license?
What do you do with the license once it is signed on the wedding day?

    It is good for 30 days and has either a 48 or 72hr waiting period so sometime between nov 9 and dec 5. I'm not sure what you do with it after that. I would ask your officiant

    Yes, and it's a 72-hour (three day) waiting period, and a good idea to ask your officiant because they might need it beforehand.  We applied for ours the week before.
    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
