Bridal shower venue HELP

I am trying ot think of a nice and unique place to hold bridal showers that won't cost a fortune for my friend's wedding. Can someone please help me out with some suggestions?

    This is a little different (and definitely unique!) but my maid of honor threw my shower at Rock n Bowl. It was a surprise and was SUPER fun. Definitely a more casual environment, so if you're looking for somewhere fancy and more formal then it wouldn't fit, but I had such a great time and all of my friends/family that attended did as well.

    My bridesmaids threw me a shower at Southport Music Hall (in the smaller rooms which was able to accommodate about 45 - 55 people comfortably. They had to decorate the place but it was beautiful and reasonably priced. Their web address is www.newsouthport.com You could also try Heritage Hall in Kenner.

    My bridal shower was at Ralphs on the Park.  They have a beautiful upstairs space with a balcony overlooking City Park.  Not sure how much it was, but it was a wonderful shower!
