Second Line Dress

For those of you having a second line, are you getting a different dress or a reception dress?  I'm having mine after my wedding reception down Bourbon Street and am terrified of getting my Monique Lhuillier dress dirty.  I've been on the hunt for a sparkly short dress to wear, but am coming up short.  What are you planning to do?

I definitely plan on having a second dress! We want our second line to be after the reception and lead to bourbon street for the rest of the night! I have always wanted a more formal wedding, with bridesmaids in long dresses but I can see how long gowns will be a pain to second line and party in! Just need to find a dress that's short for them but not casual!

I am wearing a second dress - got lucky and found a super cute short (just past the knee), strapless one on sale at Davids Bridal - on sale at the time for $99 - a steal!  I am sure you could find something nice also at Ann Taylor or J Crew (though only available online). It doesn't have to be a "wedding dress" but I assume you'd still want it to be white. Also try Saks or Macys but not in the wedding department - you might find a cute white cocktail dress.

Also - my BMs will wear short dresses - ordered from Ann Taylor - they are elegant, so suitable for a formal wedding (although not black tie) and not too casual. J Crew is also a place to look. There are tons of options for short BMs dresses.
