H is 8 years older than me. I don't think there was ever a "barrier" that needed broken, not quite sure what you mean. I never really have thought of him in terms of how old he is.

i'm 29 he is 28, 11 month difference, we are the same age for 14 days

He is 6.5 years older. We are well into our 30s and I feel after a certain age it really doesn't make any difference (no barriers to be broken).

I am 4 years older than my fiance! It took a minute for me to get adjusted to that difference because we are still in our 20's, and I guess the number bothered me for a minute. He is by far the greatest man I have ever had in my life next to my father and brother so after awhile the number faded away. 

The fact that he wants a family at 24 kind of still shocks me, but from the beginning he has wanted marriage and kids so it was an easy transition.

I am two years older than my fiance. I know that doesnt sound like much of an age barrier but there are major differences in personality i feel when you are a different age in your twenties. I have been in my career over 4 years, and he just graduated and was starting one. So the maturity levels were different.

However, we adjusted, and I am lucky to have such a wonderful man to start a family with.

He's 5 1/2 years older but our Birthdays are on the same day, we were even born at almost the same times. I was born 5:00am and he was born 5 1/2 years earlier at 5:05am. We love to tell that story!

He's six years older. It was an issue at first because we first started seeing each other when I was 17 and he was 23, and it took a lot of convincing to get him to ask me out before my 18th birthday. 4 years later and I still tease him any time we see a cop car that they're coming to get him.

He is 6 years and about a month older than me. When we met, he was already a little over my age limit...I was 27 and didn't want to date anyone over 32. He was 33 and turned 34 two weeks after we met. It was a little weird that I'm the youngest of 5 and he's a few months older than my oldest sibling. 

I got over it quick and now I'm 30 and he's 36.

I am 8 1/2 years older, but there has never been a barrier. He was 26 when we met and he was way more mature than most single 26 year old guys I had met. He has always been more respectful than most men I have met too. I believe that was just from being raised in a home with loving and respectfuly parents.
