suggestions for ceremony musician

My wedding will be at Southdown Plantation in Houma, LA.  Our original ceremony musician was going to play background music on an acoustic guitar, but can no longer do it because of personal reasons.  Any suggestions?? I am open to anything, and am on a tight budget.

I recommend Harry Hardin. He's been super easy to work with and his prices seem in  line with everyone else.

I'm also looking for an acoustic guitar player for the processional. Any suggestions? TIA

I would try Pan String. We are using them for our ceremony music. They can do  a solo violinist or you can add more musicians up to a full string quartet. Prices are super reasonable.

I'm also using Harry Hardin (New Orleans Finest Musicians).  He has been great to work with so far and came highly recommended by my planner.  Check out his website.

Ditto on using Harry Hardin/New Orleans Finest Musicians.  Great to work with and priced similarly to other ceremony musicians.  He also knows a decent amount of more contemporary music and he'll try and learn new music if sheet music is available.
  • The Pan String Quartet was great!  Elegant music and our guests raved.  We would recommend to anyone.
