Black and White Cookies

My finace is from New York so he wants to have black and white cookies as our wedding favors.  Our plan was to ship them in from New York but I'm a bit worried about the freshness.  Do any of you all have any suggestions for local bakeries where I could purchase them/have them made?

    I think black and white cookies are really just a New York thing.  I had never even heard of them until I moved up North.

    That is such a cute idea for a favor though.

    I am sure you could ask at any of the big bakeries. Try Haydel's or Gambino's.
