I feel like there is a company that does both videography and DJ-ing, that has been talked about before on this board... they might be called Prodigy? Anyway I can't find them by googling, does anybody know how to get ahold of them? If anyone has used them, what did you think? (Or if you have another DJ to recommend, that would be great too!)

Also - has anyone switched from a band to a DJ halfway through the reception? We are considering going that route, and just want to hear of some experiences with that if possible...

    I'm booking them for videography, but they do have lots of other services. I haven't heard any reviews for their DJ-ing.


    We're doing a DJ, but I haven't started looking yet. The wedding coordinator at my venue said it's becoming popular to hire second line bands--use a DJ for most of the night and hire a band for the last 30-60 minutes and "go out with a bang." Could be fun!

    We're using Prodigy for video and DJ. Josh has been awesome to work with!

    Their prices are incredible, as is their follow-up.
