City Park Brides

Hi Ladies. Wanting to get some input about what hotels you are choosing for your guests and for you to get ready in that is in close proximity to the park.

    While we did get married and have our reception at City Park, all of our hotels were either in the Quarter or in the CBD.  Our guests were responsible for getting themselves up to City Park for the ceremony (most took cabs) because it was too much to coordinate with people staying all over the FQ and CBD.  Then our reception followed directly and was right next store to the ceremony venue so they just walked right over.  After the reception we provided busses back down to Jackson Square to do our Second Line down Bourbon Street. 

    So sorry no advice on hotels near City Park (there really aren't any) but just goes to show you, you can get ready anywhere and get to City Park pretty easily.

    We did room blocks at Ritz-Carlton and Iberville Suites (since they are connected). We had buses arranged going from Ritz-carlton to City Park and vice-versa.
