I read another post, but there wasn't a specific answer. Does anyone know the general costs of renting the Grand Mansion room at Mardi Gras World. We would love to have our reception there, but information hasn't come yet. Thanks!

Sorry. They sent me 10 docments at once and I got the basic fee and the wedding packages backwards.

If you just want the facility its 5000 plus 5 pp for 3 hours.

There are three wedding packages: A, B, and C

A is $165/guest and includes the following:

3 hr rental of Grand Oaks Mansion, Open Beer, Wine and Soda Bar, Glassware packages, all tables, chairs and basic linens, certain catering menu for wedding package A, parking, wedding coordinator and votives.

Package B is $195 and Package C is 225 per guest.

They told us there was a $35,000 minimum for a Saturday night.  That is NOT a typo! lol

I think you can totally negotiate the minimum! Although, with it being $165 per person you will probably hit $35k pretty fast! Their grand oaks mansion is to die for!

This was one of the many venues we looked at. I honestly think they price it based on what they feel. They send out papers with massive rental amounts etc to scare off the "cheaper brides." Not cool!
