DJ Help (again)

So I'm approaching the 7 month mark, and still haven't found a DJ...starting to worry.  I haven't been able to find many DJs actually?  Maybe it's more of a northeastern thing...

I've reached out to 3 so far:

- Quinn Landry (already booked for my date)

- Jack Magic (no response -- multiple tries)

- Omega Sound & Entertainment (multiple attempts with no response other than "use the pricing tool on our website" email reply)

Any other recommendations?  Thanks everyone!!

Are you looking for more of a personality or more of a bargain? Our DJ was super affordable and we simply gave him a playlist which he followed exactly (per our request). But if you are looking for someone to take control of the party, I would not recommend this guy.

I don't want anyone too in your face, but I do need someone that will know what to play and can adjust accordingly to keep people on the dance floor.  I guess something more than someone who will just follow a play list.  Thanks!

i'm surprised you hadn't heard back from jack magic.. john is absolutely wonderful! i've worked with him for multiple events (non-weddings).. and a friend used him for a wedding and love him.  i still highly recommend him.

I had Omega at my wedding this weekend and Kevin was great! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. It was fantastic. You can try emailing him or David directly - they are co-owners. Maybe there is something up with the website because I have never had problems reaching either of them.

Could you send me info for this DJ? This sounds exactly like what I'm looking for here in NEw Orleans. I want to pretty much create the song list, which should take out a lot of the leg work for him. Plus, I'm on a budget. Thanks so much!
