Bands: Escalade, Sha'on, Gina Brown. Thoughts?

I'm considering all of these bands. Maybe also Midnight Streetcar and Creole String Beans, although I know less about those, and they may be out of my price range. Anyone have any experience with any of these bands? We're looking for a non-cheesy band with NOLA roots that can play both wedding standards and some old New Orleans style soul and r&b. Any and all thoughts are appreciated!! Thanks!!

I've only seen Sha'on perform and they were really fun!  They have a traditional chorus line and were great for some of the old motown classics, as well as some of the newer pop/hip hop songs.  I would definitely recommend them.

Gina brown is always great no matter where she performs.
