Planner/coordinator

Has anyone worked with Tying the Knot or Amazing Grace?  Trying to make a decision and any advice is greatly appreciated!!

    Bezlu just had an amazing experience with Tying the Knot.  I hired Carolyn Arthurs at All About Events, who has been great so far.  My wedding is in a month, so I can't comment on her day of services.  FWIW-I really liked Elyse Skansi.

    If you read about my Nikki Lynch/318 Designs fiasco, Elyse at Tying the Knot, saved the day!  Even without that, she was just an excellent coordinator in every other way.  She is extremely organized, poised, resourceful, and just a lovely person to work with.  Her staff is also amazing-- not just worker bees, they are like an extension of her and the day of, we felt like we had a team of professionals coordinating things.  I cannot say enough good things about her.  Going with Tying the Knot is the best wedding-related decision we made.

    Haven't worked with either, but just some friendly advice.... your wedding planner is probably one of the most important vendors, if not the most important vendor you'l book, so do your reseach, take your time, call around and find out what their reputation is like and what kind of weddings they do best with (high end, budget, medium size, large, etc.) before you make any decisions. This person can be either an angel sent from heaven or your worst nightmare or even a mix of the two, so please choose wisely (speaking from personal experience).
