Photographers arrive at getting ready places
5:30 - Florist & baker arrive at TM to deliver/set up
6:00 - Hair & make-up done
Formal wedding party pictures (possibly men only, see 7:30)
6:30 - Limos arrive
6:45 - Leave for TM (ladies and men)
7:30 - Arrive at TM
Formal bridal party pictures with bride's attendants/family (see 6:00)
8:00 - Ceremony
8:30 - Reception
Formal pictures with bridal party until 8:45
8:45 - Formal pictures of bride & groom
9:00 - Formal pictures finished
          Bride & groom join reception
10:45 - Photographer leaves
11:30 - Send-off

Thoughts/concerns encouraged!

Re: XP - My timeline!

  • Just a thought, why is your photographer leaving before the send off?  You'll miss some great photos, especially if you do your second line just before send off (if you're doing one).
  • We were a little conflicted on wether to have to photog stay for the send-off or not. He only provides six hours of coverage for our package. It's only $100 for an additional hour. But by then it will be 11:30 and we figure a ton of our guest will have already left. We're not planning on doing a second line. We're just not into them. I think we'd rather have the photogs there while we're getting ready to catch all of the great candids and formal shots with just the bride's and groom's attendants respectively.
  • Are you sure you want to do all of your formal photos so late in the evening?  It will really take away from the time you get to spend at your reception with your guests.  We did all of our formal photos during the day before the ceremony and family shots after the ceremony.  I assume you are not doing a first look?

<div>We're doing some formal photos during the day and some at night after the reception. We're not having a first look. We feel like it's anti-climactic. I know that it will take time from the reception, but I'm not planning on having 20+ arrangements of family photos.</div>

<div>We did our photos between the ceremony and our first dance also.  We were glad that we didn't do the first look. :)  We took lots of pictures (me with my family & BMs, him with his family and GM) before the ceremony.  I will say that our photos took longer than expected and, once we had a chance to freshen up, our first dance was about 10 minutes behind schedule.  Not a big deal, but a couple of my more "honest" guests were wondering what took so long.  </div>
