Rehearsal dinner suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions for a rehearsal dinner venue in the city? We wanted to go with acme but they are already booked. We are looking for more of a laid back atmosphere but with good food! Thanks

  • I don't know if you'd consider it laid back but we're having ours at Muriel's.
  • We're having ours at Margaritaville. Don't know how much more laid back you can get than that! Lol

  • We are having our at ralph and kacoos which has packages that range in price similar to acme.

Muriel's, Bourbon House, Palace Cafe, and Antoine's are the first places that pop into my head.

I would go with Bourbon House or Muriel's if you are looking for laid back, the others are definitely more fancy/fine dining.

by 'in the city' you mean in the French Quarter right? because if you are open to moving outside the quarter (into the wearhouse district or garden district) it might open up more options.

Sidenote: I know it says DC area for my location, but I am a NOLA native living in DC who is getting married in NOLA. Not sure how to fix that...

  • We were looking for the same thing: fun, relaxed, awesome food and beer.

We're going with the Irish House on St Charles.  They have been amazing to work with and I can't wait to see how it all turns out!
  • I would say ralph and kacoos! Great food and they have prices to fit all budgets :
