Need help finding Venue near Houma/St. James(Vacherie) Area!

Hello ladies! I need a little help finding a venue between the Houma/Vacherie area. I have a small family here in Houma, and his family is mainly located in the St. James area. I fell in LOVE with the Champagne Palace, but it's an hour away from both areas and I'm not sure how many people would be willing to drive that far. If you know of any gems, please let me know. Thank you!

I'm not familiar with those areas but I know that Oak Alley Plantation is in Vacherie. I'm getting married at Champagne Palace and i'm taking my bridals at Oak Alley

Lucky you! I really really want to use CP, just trying to be considerate of friends/family. If they really love us, they'd take that drive, right?! I've been eyeing Oak Alley as well. It's a show down between those two. I wish there were more venues like CP around this area!

There are a ton of plantations in the area.  Check out San Francisco plantation, Laura Plantation, and, further away, Cedar Grove Tchoupitoulas Plantation

Haha I know what you mean! I originally wanted Oak Alley because it has meaning to my family. I knew immediate family would have made the drive, and FI's family would have also because they're making a drive regardless. It was the rest of the extended family and friends that I was worried about. You're right though. If they really want to be there, they will make the trip. I do have to say though, I'm in love with my venue, and they've been really great so far!!
