Any Broussards Brides?

Hi All!

My FI and I are planning a 60ish person destination wedding to NOLA in May 2012. We have been looking and looking for a venue that will be perfect!

Has anyone had their wedding and/or reception at Broussards and, if so, what can you tell me (the good, bad, and UGLY)?

TIA!!!

i looked there too and they have a $10,000 minimum after 5pm and the lady who does the coordinating although nice is pretty crazy.  Honestly, I think there are better and prettier spots for the money.  But the food is really good :) Good luck on your search!

We had our rehearsal dinner there.  The food was just okay. I strongly suggest going to Urbanspoon and reading some reviews. I think that they say it all.  I would try the Maison Dupuy; it's court yard as the exact same look and feel as the one at Broussards.  My wedding photographer recently did a wedding at the Maison Dupuy, you can see the photos of the ceremony here:

    Hope this helps!

I am looking for a place that can accomodate 200 for both ceremony & reception, with preference for a courtyard ceremony.  I was looking at Broussards (how many can they host?)....Maison Dupuy is too small for my crew.  Any other ideas?
