2 questions...St. Joseph, Celebrity

1.  I was wondering if any St. Joseph brides brought decor in to the church for the ceremony.  The church is so pretty by itself, I wasn't sure if I should add anything.  If you did, what did you add?
2.  I'm using Celebrity for the limos.  The "transportation fee" says that it is for the drivers plus some other things.  Does this mean gratuity?  I'm not sure why I would need to pay for a service, then pay for the driver to perform the service, then tip on top of that.  If someone could give me a little direction here it would be much appreciated.  I don't mind tipping on top of the fee if that's what I'm supposed to do, but how much percentage-wise is appropriate?  On the contract it says I need a police escort: why is this, how do I go about doing it, and how much does it cost?
TIA!
I'm sure I'll have more questions soon...I'm under the 2 month mark so I'm trying to figure out loose ends now.  Yayyyy

  • I am using Celebrity also and gratuity is included in their pricing. I actually used them to have a car pick me up at the airport today since I was traveling alone with my wedding dress and all my bags and I clarified again that gratuity is included in their price. HTH.

  • Oh awesome.  That is super helpful.  Do you know anything about having to get a police escort?

Sorry, not really because my planner took care of that. Search through these posts and I know there is info on it. Or make another post and someone who has done it recently will help you.

  • Good idea, I found it.  Thanks
  • St. Joseph's is really pretty by itself.  You may consider asking your florist to just do arrangements at the altar and small pew-end arrangements, just to make it feel more like a special arrangement.  But I agree with you, simple would be better because the church is so beautiful and ornate to begin with.
