Coolbone Brass Band

Coolbone can play my ceremony, reception, and secondline for a very reasonable price compared to some other bands I've been looking at. For those of you who've had them play your reception, what were they like? Did they provide mainly background music for your reception or did they get people out on the dance floor?  Our group loves to get down and I want to make sure there's some great dance music.

    We had Coolbone for our May 7th wedding reception.  They played the reception and second line.  It was UNBELIEVABLE.  We had quite a few out of town guests and people are still raving about it. It was probably the best wedding decision we made. You won't be dissapointed.

    Awesome! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed them!  Most of our guests are from OOT and I really think they would enjoy them.  Did you have a DJ as well?

    yes. I opted for a 4 hour reception, so we had Coolbone play the fist dance and bridal party songs and play for about two hours.  For the last two hours, we had David Storm with Omega Sound and Entertainment to play party music.  he was fantastic and Was a great addition with Coolbone.  Coolbone actually sang wuth the DJ music when the DJ took over and played "Stand up and Get crunk".  It was amazing.

    We also hired Coolbone for our May 30th wedding. They played for hte ceremony and all of the 4 hour reception. It was probably our best decision. They did a great job. The guests loved them and everyone was dancing!
