Cathedral Brides...Parking?

Hello to my fellow cathedral brides.  I would just like to know where you will be directing your guess to park. Thanks.

Most of our guests parked at our hotel/reception site. I started mini buses and hour ahead to start shuttling them to the church. People walked too.
There is a large parking lot across Decauter along the River and a parking garage nearby that people also used. I'd have to look up the names.

Most of the hotels in the Quarter have parking. There is also parking by Jax Brewery. 

Personally, I would tell them to park wherever is close to the reception. They can walk to the Church but after the reception and partying, no one wants to treck back to the car.

I also directed my guests to park in the jax brewery lot but I made sure to say on my wedding website "paid parking is available on decatur next to jackson brewery" so that people think to bring cash so they aren't trying to visit an atm in the french quarter at night when its over. I believe the bourbon orleans does day only special event valet parking but I'm not exactly sure of the price. However, my reception is at the riverview room and that jax lot is right next door. Where is your reception?

I directed mine to the Jax Brewery lot, the lot behind Cafe du Monde, the Omni garage, and the lot across the street from the Omni.

My reception is far.  It is a the Hyatt down poydras.

Maybe you should provide a mini bus shuttle, since your guests will have to pay to park twice. Those are two downtown locations that require paid parking. Big Easy and Celebrity are more affordable limo companies where you should be able to get good deals on a mini bus. I am going with Big Easy. Celebrity has mixed views on this board, but it should be okay if you just need a shuttle.

I would definitely tell your guests to park at the Hotel and get a shuttle bus to the Cathedral.

If you're second-lineing back, then you only need the shuttle before the ceremony.
