Royal Carriages versus Mid City Carriages

Hey ladies,
I am interested in booking a carriage as our getaway from our reception, but I am having a hard time choosing companies.  For those who have used either Royal Carriages or Mid City Carriages, would you recommend them or not (which one) and why? If you used another company, I would love to hear about them as well.  I just picked these 2 because they seemed like the most popular.  I would love testimonials before I book with a company.

    I went with Mid City Carriages for a ride from the hotel where I'm getting ready, to the venue, although I saved money by going with a standard French Quarter carriage rather than the wedding carriage.  The two companies seemed about the same, the lady at Mid City Carriages was very helpful.

    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.

    Royal carriages has a really cool saints carriage that drew brees signed. Not sure about pricing though. Hope this helps a little :) Happy planning!
