The Foundry vs. The Chicory

Hey everyone! We are planning a Friday night wedding for March 2012 & have just begun the process of looking for reception venues. The two that we have narrowed it down to so far are The Foundry & The Chicory. We loved the look and feel of both places, they are both near our hotel block (Renaissance Arts), and I really liked the coordinators I spoke with at both locations. All things being fairly equal, I wanted to get some suggestions from you guys! Anyone had any experience with either or both that would help us tip the scale?? Thanks in advance! :)

    Not sure if you already have, but I just had my wedding at Rosy's and it was AMAZING!!!! It has the same old New Orleans vibe with exposed brick walls, etc. but is SO much cooler. But if you're sold on The Foundry or The Chicory, I'd go with the Chicory. I've been to events at both venues and I think the Chicory is much nicer. Plus I recently read a terrible review about the Foundry on this board from an OOT bride. Good luck!

    There was a post within the past 2 weeks on this board about how bad the Foundry was to deal with.  May be worth looking up.

    Thanks ladies! We did go look at Rosy's. It was beautiful, but a bit too small for our guest list unfortunately. That is terrible to hear about someone's bad experience with The Foundry! Definitely good to know!!!

    I had my wedding at The Foundry and I was shocked to read the post from the bride on this website!  I found everyone there SO easy to deal with (and I e-mailed them with questions/changes constantly) and lovely.  The space was so beautiful and the food was fantastic.  Let me know if you want to see the photos!
