I'm a Wisconsin bride and been on the board a while.I'm in the process of planning my friends bachelorette party in New Orleans and need HELP. Can you please give me suggestions for the following please.

Hotels near French Quarter(reasonably priced)
Naughty Cake Bakeries or Baker
Pole Dancing Instructor(someone that can come out)
Male Entertainer ( the brides request)

I can't help with the others, but for the hotel, check out Place d'Armes. Very reasonably priced and conveniently located right off of Jackson Square and 2 blocks from Bourbon.

The only "theme" bakery I am aware of is called Hot Chocolate, which is located in the FQ. Here's their website:http://stores.hotchocolatestore.com/StoreFront.bok

But I would also consider contacting other popular bakeries in the area and see if they are willing to shape such a cake.... I would imagine this will vary between if you are thinking of a lingerie boustier (more likely) to other less likely options. No experience there  

Do pole dancing instructors really do on-site lessons? How do they anchor the pole? Either way, there's a living social deal right now for a bachlorette pole party - it doesn't mention on-location parties, but maybe worth asking about? I would try Inn on Bourbon, Omni Royal, Bourbon Orleans, or Royal Sonesta. Not sure the rates, but these are the ones that come to mind in the area.
