gifts and OOT guests?

did most of your OOT guests bring gifts? I was really hoping they would ship, as we aren't having a gift table...

    My friends got married in March and both of their families were from OOT.  I remember them getting LOTS of stuff shipped to them and I don't remember seeing any gifts at the reception, but I also wasn't looking for gifts.  Maybe you could just ask your event coordinator at the venue or a bridesmaid or someone else to be on the lookout for guests with gifts and help stash them somewhere out of the way if you don't want a table.
