Photographer Nightmare

Do not use Amanda Marks Photography. I have been waiting for my pictures for over a year and everytime I ask about them it's always "3 more weeks" or "2 more weeks". I'm sick of the excuses and want my photo albums! I can't believe this is happening to me!

    I am so glad I cancelled her when she "double booked" me.  She got my 600 bucks but I hear she is an absolute nightmare and I am so sorry to hear this is happenening to so many girls.  I am hoping that enough people will get the word out about how unprofessional she is so that she will hopefully find another profession.  

    I would be calling/e-mailing her every single day until you receive your pictures!  This is not something you should have to deal with.  If she doesn't give your picture albums to you soon, I would tell her you are thinking of getting a lawyer involved.  It might light a fire unfer her butt!

    I can't believe she didn't give you your deposit back when she double booked you.  I've read several negative reviews on this board of her.  I'm so sorry, but hope you get your photos soon.

    I've read so many posts about this person-- I hope you ladies are reporting her to the Better Businss Bureau so she stops getting new clients!  And also, she might be curbed if enough jilted clients took her to small claims court.  Isn't there anything about turn-around time written in her contracts?

    Sorry to hear this-- it must be terribly frustrating :-(

    Wow....our photos were so important to me.  I can't imagine still not having them a year later.  I'm so sorry, and I hope you somehow get them soon!

    I'm in the process of trying to cancel my contract with her right now. I sent a letter through certified mail and she has not picked it up! She doesn't respond to emails so I have no idea how to cancel with her! NatMarie2689 how did you cancel your contract with her do you mind telling me?

    I have heard a lot about how bad she is. We are using Stacy Marks. Apparently she was his wife at one point.

    @Laura--if your deposit was on a credit card or via Paypal, you could dispute the charge and cancel it that way.

    I'm so sorry that you are going through this.  I had a shady incident with my first photog.  Thank goodness I figured out that we were not a match before my ceremony and fired her.  Sending good thoughts your way!  Hope you get them soon!

    I'd look into taking legal action, if I were you. At the very least, you could have a lawyer to give her a call.

    I am going through the exact same thing with Amanda Marks Photography right now!  I really hope that new brides get the word of how unprofessional she is.  It was by far the worst decision i made.  What a nightmare!  I just want to get my albums and all my pictures!!

    ITS BEEN 16 MONTHS AND SHE HASN'T GIVEN ME MY ALBUMNS. I FILED LEGAL PAPERS!!!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMEND HER!!!!!!!!!!

    Katie!  Yes, Stacy and Amanda were married but they parted ways a while back!  I used Stacy for my April 2011 wedding and was 150% pleased with my pictures!!!
