Mother of the bride dresses

Hi ladies!
Does anyone happen to know of any dress shops/boutiques that sell dresses that would work as MOB dresses?  We've been to most of the bridal stores and larger retail stores in town (Saks, Nordstrom, Van Maur) and are still without a dress :(
Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks!

My mother and FI mother have both said they can't find anything sutiable either, they are in Cleveland. If price doesn't matter you could try Catan's Bridal in Strongsville. Beautiful MOB dresses with price tags to match.

My mom got her dress at JCP..she went into their evening wear/dress section. This was however in cincy 2 years ago. But she found something there. My MIL went to Macy's.

I found a couple cute ones for my mom at David's they were actually bridesmaid dresses.  She would get a different color than the bridesmaids.  and she has been looking at Macys etc.  Though we weren't looking at anything that was specifically "mother of" dresses.

My mom had a really hard time finding a dress as well. She ended up getting hers from Macy's but she did fine a few that she liked on the Dillards website as well. She just didn't end up getting one of them because she didn't want to deal with ordering from online since there isn't one around here.

My mom had problems too! She ended up finding hers at dress barn. Beautiful dress and incredibly affordable. They do have all their dresses on their Web site. The only location in the city is in Grove City off Stringtown.

Looks like your mother already went there, but both my mom and mother-in-law got their's at Nordstrom - I think have more online than what they have in the store...

I used to be in charge of the dress department at Von Maur, and I can tell you they get new stock in 3 times a week, so keep checking back if you are not seeing anything you love. And if you come across a dress she loves in a magazine, they can do special orders, even if it is not a line they normally carry. Just know that special orders are non-refundable. And if you do find something that isn't a perfect fit, many of the alerations are complimentary, and the ones that aren't are very reasonably priced. It doesn't hurt to just let them know what you are looking for as well, and leave youe name and number. When I was there I regularly called customers about new merchandise, and tracked down sizes from other stores. (Um, can you tell I LOVED working there? Honestly I would be there still health permitting, and still shop there bunches!)
