Unique MS/NOLA sign in book

any suggestions for a unique sign in book? My fiancé is from Biloxi MS and I'm from NOLA and I'd like something different. A lot of people have done the Blue Dog book but I'd like something that shows us more something that incorporates both of our cities/states and definitely not a Katrina book. I was thinking about the John cook book with the alligator on the cover but then i thought a big dead gator isnt really what i want to greet the guests with, any thoughts?

If you are talking about a coffee table book where people write in the margins, what about a book of photography taken along the Gulf Coast with the swamps/marshes, beaches, and etc.?

You could DIY with maps and other local foliage, animals, sports teams, etc.  Like scrap-book style?

We used Spirit of New Orleans by Bruce Keyes.  It's a cool book...doesn't have anything about Biloxi in it though...

We did a shutterfly photobook of our entire relationship.  It was easy to do and inexpensive because they always have great sales.  We had people sign all over it.  You could take pictures of both areas and mix them in with pictures of y'all as kids and over the years.  We love our book and laugh at the funny things people wrote.  My husband didn't know I was working on that and he thought it was so cool because our kids will enjoy looking at it one day too.

I second (or third) the idea of the Shutterfly photobook.  This is what we had for our wedding - it was actually my sister's idea and she put it together for us.  It was very reasonably priced and fun to have something that was personalized just for us!
