For those who had a wedding at the Valley Dale...

Any picture ideas? Our DJ will be in front of the staircase, and we will be taking pictures while our guests are up on the balcony during cocktail hour. The VDB is so pretty, but I guess to me it doesn't seem like there's very many "photo ops"? I'm not very artsy or into that sort of thing, so any suggestions would be ohso helpful!


For what it's worth, our wedding is vintage/big band themed.

    We are also gettin married at Valley Dale......and we are also having a Gatsby-inspired wedding ;) How fun! We've only been there twice, and from what I could see, the staircase was the biggest photo-op locale. We still haven't figured the timing part out yet, seeing as how they won't let us into the building anytime before 4 (the music starts at 6). I guess it would depend on how you plan to dress up the stage area.....we chose to use those 4 white pillars that they have there and give you the option to rent. And our florist is going to put floral/greenery arrangements up on top of the pillars. So I'm guessing that would be another good place to take pics.
