printer?

I might be in over my head! We're making our invitations but just realized we don't know the best way to get them printed. Any recommendations? They're square and we want heavy cardstock. I've heard Kinko's horror stories but don't know where else to look. Thanks!

We printed our own.  The printer took the cardstock just fine.  It was a little time consuming b/c we didn't put more than 3 in at a time.  I just started receiving complements back on them and everyone so far has loved them and couldn't believe we did them ourselves.  Hope that helps!

If your cardstock is heavier than say #70, you will probably have trouble with your home printer. I think Staples and Office Depot do printing, but I'm not sure about the square invites.

I did a lot of printing for my paper stuff on medium weight card stock on my home printer and while it was frustrating and time consuming, it was free and it did work out well!

I do it in a regular printer ALL THE TIME. Just get a sample of the paper if you don't have it already and do a test print.

Things to remember if using Word.

Any time you hit return, Word automatically capitalizes the first letter of the first word in the next line. You'll have to manually change "to" and "at" to lower case.

You can format the size by going to Page Setup and entering in your paper size under the Paper tab, margins under Margins and Vertical Alignment (so you don't have to center vertically by using returns), under Layout.

Like I said, I do this all the time for people, so PM me if you get stuck :)
