Dress Alterations?

Hi, Everyone - just rec'd my dress yesterday from NYC and now I need to find someone to do some pretty complicated alterations.  Can anyone recommend someone who specializes in wedding gowns in C-bus that alters dresses from anywhere?

I got my dress altered at Alan Ray Bridal, which was also where I bought it. I am an out of state bride and I didn't have time to search for a reputable seamstress. I would rather pay the money than take a chance on someone screwing my dress up.

I do believe there was a thread on this a while back, so you may start there as well.

I am using Linda Hine for my alterations.  She came highly recommended from this board.  She works out of her home in Lewis Center.  Many people said she was able to do complicated alterations, so I am sure she could accomodate you.   This is her website and her phone number is (740)-548-4628.  She does fittings on Tues-Thurs. in 30 min. shifts, 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30.  I have had success reaching by email, which is linda@sewperfectforyou.com.  Good luck!!

Joyce at Alterations on Lane is great. She will do alterations on dresses from anywhere. I just used her for a bridesmaid dress, and she worked miracles on it This was the first time I've used Joyce (someone on this board recommended her to me), but she was very nice and had tons of photos hanging up of bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses she's done - so she definitely knows what she's doing Her number is (614) 488-9640. Another vote for Linda Hine.  She is fabulous.

Joyce is an absolute miracle worker. I LOVED her. I was actually sad when the alterations were over. She even came to my house (1.5 hours away) the day before the wedding to make sure it was absolutely perfect.
