AW: Tasting Update

Since I posted about our tasting at the Hyatt last week I wanted to update!  It was amazing!!  They completely exceeded our expectations of what the tasting would be like on every level.  The food was insanely delicious, the presentation was great, our server was really personable, we were just so happy with everything :-)  We had already decided on most of our menu but we narrowed down our hors doeuvres and sampled everything else.  We also picked our cake design (picture in bio!) and flavors.  Everyone was right about Sugarbakers' signature flavor, it was delicious!  So we're going with amaretto/raspberry for the bottom and top layers, and red velvet in the middle.  I wish we could do the whole tasting thing more than once, lol.  Oh well, now at least we know that we have great food to look forward to at the wedding!

I found the picture in my email and added it, so now it is in bio.

Sounds delicious, and looks awesome! The tasting has to be one of the best parts of planning! Glad you had a good time. What kind of hors d'oeuvres did you choose? I heart hors d'oeurves.
