Inexpensive Venue

A co worker is looking to do a wedding for $10,000. Can anyone recommend any venues that are inexpensice and that may also do an all vegetarian meal option as well?TIA!

    Overhills Mansion can work well with that budget...is the 10,000 total wedding or just food?

    I believe Crofton Country Club is inexpensive as well, and very pretty.

    The Geneva Farm Golf Club in Harford County is very affordable.  When we looked there, it was about $40 PP, which included beer, wine and the cake (from Woodley Bakery) Tables, Chairs, Linens, etc.  There was a very modest upcharge to have your ceremony there, I think it was like an addtional $200, and it was a gazebo that overlooked one of the greens.  The manager that ran the place was really nice.  Very talky.  And, he had LOTS of affordable contacts (photography, transportation, etc.) that he regularly works with.

    Check out the park and planning websites.  They have many historical buildings/gardens that are realtively inexpensive.  Many also allow you to bring your own caterer/alcohol. PG county www.pgparks.com Montgomery County www.wehavethewhere.org Also - for caterers, try the Wild Orchid Cafe - we used them for several buisness events, and the food is really yummy.  http://thewildorchidcafe.com/catering.php

    Renditions Golf Club in davidsonville. There is no rental fee for the facility and the dinners start as low as 50pp. She will have to pay for pipe and drape unless they are golf people. I will say the pipe, drape, uplighting and dance floor lights cost me 1200- so it was worth it to me.
