1. How long did you date before you got engaged? 14 mos. 2. Did you get the ring you wanted? I did 3. Was the proposal a complete surprise? I had a slight hunch b/c he wanted to go to this overlook where I went to college at to get pictures during whiteout conditions when we already had a pictures from there. I knew he wanted to propose and that his Aunt was getting him the ring (shes a jeweler) but he made me believe that she hasnt found the ring yet. 4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? nope... he got me a bigger diamond then requested and I love it! 5. Did you cry when he proposed? Nope but I never said yes either! 6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Thoughtful 7. Are you buying his wedding band for him? I am but we get great discounts! 8. Have you gone over your origional wedding budget? Yeap 9. What was your biggest wedding day splurge (aside from the obvious "reception/food/drinks") The photographer was the most expensive, even higher then caterer and venue combined!

1. 4.5 years 2. Yes. I told Jason the style that I liked and he took it from there. He got a picture form the Tiffany website and took it to a wholesaler so that they could recreate it. 3. I knew it was coming eventually, but it was a surprise that day. 4. my diamond is a perfect size! (1.52 carats) 5. Hell yes I cried... He cried too! 6. romantic. He just told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and no one else. 7. I did buy the wedding band. Both of his actually 8. No we didnt. My parents gave us a set amount of money and anything over that we had to cover. We expected to pay approx $15K and onlt ended up spending $12K total... :0) 9. Didnt really have a splurge... (see total above) But we did think we were only going to have certain liquors and beer there at the reception... We ended up providing more choices for the guests...

1. We dated for two years before.2. Yes, I got the ring I wanted. We went to try on rings several months before we actually got engaged and I fell in love with my ring. I kinda wish I hadn't been such a major part in picking it out, but I didn't know he was going to get me this one!3. The proposal was kind of a surprise. I felt kinda anxious that day for some reason so I was hoping it would happen.4. I love my ring. There isn't a thinkg I'd change.5. I didn't cry. I think I was in too much shock and awe.6. It was romantic. (Especially for him) He had rose petals laid all over the room, candles, and paper hearts hanging from the ceiling and he was in a suit and tie.7. I will buy his band. We haven't looked yet just because it's still a ways off.8. Not yet. I don't plan on it either. We are having a simple, laid back, BBQ type reception.9. So far nothing has been a splurge, just because we haven't gotten so far into the planning. I am a bargain shopper so I hope nothing feels so overly expensive!

1. How long did you date before you got engaged? Technically like 7 months, but we were inseparable best friends for like 2 years before we started dating.2. Did you get the ring you wanted? yes, but now I want to get a new setting for it, hehe3. Was the proposal a complete surprise? I was expecting to get engaged soon, but he was supposed to be at an Eagles game the day he surprised me (I was in New Zealand and he was in the states)4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? of course you can always go bigger, but I think he got a pretty nice size rock for me5. Did you cry when he proposed? haha no, I never cry6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how. Well I guess creative... I was in New Zealand for a month visiting my sister and he wanted to come but couldn't afford the ticket AND the e-ring he was saving up for.  My parents called him a week before they were heading over and invited him to come along.  So when we went to pick my parents up from the airport he got off the plane after them.  I was in COMPLETE shock, because he was supposed to be at the Eagles game, and had flown 24 hours without me knowing!!  He had called me at layovers and stuff, cause we were constantly talking on the phone.  Later that night he proposed on one of the lovely NZ beaches!!7. Are you buying his wedding band for him? haha that was the plan but he ended up paying for both since we were joinging bank accts anyways8. Have you gone over your origional wedding budget? I think we came in pretty close, I told my dad to give me a list and I would pay anything over but he never told me.  Gotta love dad.9. What was your biggest wedding day splurge (aside from the obvious "reception/food/drinks")hmm... I don't know.  Dress?  Classic Car?

Not a complete suprise. We had shopped for rings so I knew it was coming at some point but not the actual day.4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? Nope, exactly what I wanted.5. Did you cry when he proposed? No I just my hands got really shakey.6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how.  Creative - It incorporated something we did the first night we hung out.7.
