2 garters or 1?

I don't generally post - but have enjoyed reading all the comments from this board - they have helped me a lot for my October wedding! So - garters?  are you buying a set? or just 1?  are you wearing both of them (if buying the set)?  do you wear both on the same leg? Thanks for your feedback!! :)

    I got the set... one is a toss garter and the other is a keepsake one.  I got it b/c I knew my DH would love that it was a Steelers garter, but if it had just been a normal one, I probably would have just gotten the toss one.  You can check Etsy for a lot of cute "theme" garters, thats where I found mine. But I think you only wear the one garter, or at least I did.

    I got a set mostly because they came in a set. I actually wore neither of them until 5 mins before the garter toss when I put on one of them. That one was removed and tossed and I never saw it again. I still have the other one - I never wore it, but its a nice keepsake.

    My cousin wore both of them and the toss one was closest to the knee.

    My DH asked me to surprise him with a "coll garter" because his brother got a Redskins one. So I went on etsy and bought a superman themed garter set. I had neither on until right before the garter toss when my DOC grabbed me, pulled me into the ladies room, stuck it on my leg and said "OK GARTER TOSS!" and out we went. It was on as I threw my bouquet and then when DH got to pull it off. I only put the toss one on. Now the 2nd one is a keepsake and is hanging on a photo frame on my bookcase with a photo of the garter toss. It's cute and DH loves how it was personalized to him (he's a huge closet comic book lover). Photos in my knot bio.
